Luke keeps the SOC's data platform running smoothly, ensuring security alerts are properly triaged.
Luke Snyder’s journey into cybersecurity began at UNC Charlotte, where he was a member (and briefly President—let the record show) of a cybersecurity student organization called The 49th Security Division. The student-led discussions in their weekly meetings ignited his passion for lifelong learning in the field.
Before joining Huntress, Luke gathered experience in banking, manufacturing, and the service industry, most recently at Bank of America. “I've been able to apply my skills and lessons learned while protecting some of the largest companies in the world to protect the smallest,” says Luke. His expertise is backed by certifications like GCIH, Sec+, Net+, and A+.
But Luke’s fun facts don’t end there. He had a virtual wedding at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, and he earned the rank of Eagle Scout just three days before his 18th birthday. So, if you ever need advice on tying intricate knots and using a webcam to capture life’s most important moments, he’s got you covered.
When he's not using his skills at Huntress, Luke loves cooking and grilling with fresh ingredients from his local farmers market. He’s also into photography with his film camera and stays active with yoga, hiking, and the occasional rock climbing adventure.
