Retired veteran bringing market intelligence to Huntress with a mission-driven mindset

Dustin Ray is the Principal Competitive Intelligence Manager at Huntress, where his passion for making a difference aligns perfectly with the company’s mission of delivering security for the 99%. A retired military veteran, Dustin’s journey into cybersecurity started in the Aerospace and Defense sector, working in secure communications and networking. Over time, he transitioned into IT services, focusing on cybersecurity and bringing his expertise to organizations like Datto, Kaseya, and Risecor.

Before joining the cybersecurity world, Dustin worked with renowned companies like L3Harris and ATK, now part of Northrop Grumman. His experience spans industries and challenges, always grounded in a mission-first mentality. "I find satisfaction in work that makes a difference for our society," Dustin shares, adding that Huntress’ mission resonates deeply with his own values.

When he’s not helping Huntress stay ahead of the competition, Dustin devotes his time to mentoring youth and volunteering with various groups. He loves traveling, meeting new people, trying unique foods, and immersing himself in different cultures. Above all, Dustin finds true joy in his family, which remains at the heart of everything he does.
