Vice President of Product Marketing, king of vinyl records.
Seth Geftic has been a dedicated professional in the cybersecurity space since 2004. His experience ranges from endpoint security, MDR, identity protection, security awareness training, SIEM, to extended detection and response (XDR), he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role. He also holds a CISSP certification, issued in 2011, further solidifying his expertise in the field.
Seth’s appreciation for Huntress is fueled by the company’s unique combination of strategy and culture. In his own words: “There's a saying that culture eats strategy for breakfast. In the world of hypergrowth startups, both are crucial, but a strong culture often leads to the most successful strategies. And a bad culture can doom your strategy no matter how sound it seems on paper. Huntress is one of the rare places that has both strategy AND culture!”
Prior to joining Huntress, Seth had an extensive career in cybersecurity product marketing, most recently serving as Vice President of Product Marketing at Red Canary.
A true music lover at heart, Seth enjoys starting his day with a chosen album played on his turntable setup, which we hear is pretty impressive. When he's not working or managing his growing record collection, you can find him spending quality time with his family or dining at one of his favorite restaurants in Greenville, SC.
Do you have a favorite cybersecurity tip, Seth?
“Security is like the brakes in your car—they aren't there to slow you down; they are there so you can go faster. If your security is slowing your business down, you should consider another approach.”
